It hasn’t been long ago when we’ve seen the first leak about the upcoming Oppo Find 9, which will be Oppo’s next flagship phone for 2015. As you probably know the Find-series gets a new device once a year and we usually see the first rumors and leaks appearing early in the year. Now for the Find 9 we haven’t heard that much apart from that single leak which still is not confirmed to be real. Specs are only rumors so far and talk about the Oppo Find 9 featuring the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC aka Snapdragon 810 with 64-bit support. We however do believe that it could also be possible that Oppo will be using a Mediatek SoC once again for their next flagship as the Snapdragon 810 apparently has some overheating issues. The Mediatek MT6795 SoC would be a very interesting choice for Oppo, as it is very similar to the Snapdragon 810 yet offers some advantages with regards to the camera features. Still the Snapdragon 810 is probably the more likely option as Oppo will probably be able to deal with the heat generation of this SoC with the help of their innovative cooling technology they announced back last year.
A new happening in China could now hint at the Oppo Find 9 being announced or teasered for the first time rather sooner than later. The Oppo Find 7 prices have been dropped by 499 Yuan in China without any big announcement being made. Something like this usually happens shortly before a successor of the device in question is announced. With the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, which Oppo has been attending last year, it might be possible that we will see first details about the Oppo Find 9 in March.
